The 11th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV2018) is scheduled to take place in Galway, Ireland, from 4 to 6 April 2018. The conference is organized under the patronage of the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, Government of Ireland, and is co-organized by the National University of Ireland Galway, the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, and UNU-EGOV, the latter as the coordinator of the ICEGOV series. Previous ICEGOV conferences took place in Macau (2007), Cairo (2008), Bogotá (2009), Beijing (2010), Tallinn (2011), Albany (2012), Seoul (2013), Guimarães (2014), Montevideo (2016), and New Delhi (2017).
The conference theme of ICEGOV2018 is Transforming Digital Governance for Sustainable and Resilient Societies. Following the Call for Papers, 180 papers were submitted, out of which 116 were accepted for presentation and publication split across 18 Paper Sessions. Together with this, the conference programme will also feature keynote lectures, plenary discussions, invited sessions, a poster exhbition, and a full day dedicated to Workshops and the Doctoral Colloquium (3 April 2018).
