The 10th edition of the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV2017), which was hosted in New Delhi between 7-10 March 2017, has come to an end after 4 immensely intense days for all participants that included more than 68 paper presentations in 12 different tracks, 6 keynote lectures, 12 invited sessions by leading organizations in the area, 4 plenary sessions, a poster exhibition, a doctoral colloquium, and many, many hours of networking and meetings among people from more than 50 countries.

The organization work for ICEGOV2017 took almost one year and it was carried out between the project coordinator, UNU-EGOV, and the local organizers in New Delhi: the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India and their National e-Governance Division, together with the collaboration of UNESCO.

Following the usual timeline of ICEGOV, a conference report with more details about ICEGOV2017 is expected in the upcoming weeks, together with the publication of the conference proceedings and the ICEGOV2017 Special Collection: e-Government Innovations in India. Both publications will be published by the ACM Press in digital format only. Finally, the work will start for the organization of ICEGOV2018, which will take place in Galway, Ireland.
