With a focus on usability of government websites and online service provision, the Latvian School of Public Administration (VAS) and the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV) have signed a contract for competence development and policy recommendation.
The project consists of two parts: firstly, a 2-day training and brainstorm seminar for 25 selected Latvian decision-makers on 12-13 September 2017 in Riga; secondly, based on current and future best practices, and the interactive brainstorming sessions during the seminar, a number of policy recommendations will be outlined. The recommendations will focus on a a ecosystem for Latvian public service delivery, a development strategy and management model for the national one-stop portal, as well as framework for increased online usability across government.
