UNU-EGOV Presentation at the White House Office for Science and Technology Policy

    Established in 1976 with a broad mandate to advise the President and others within the Executive Office of the President (EOP) on the effects of science and technology on domestic and international affairs, the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) leads inter-agency efforts to develop and implement sound science and technology policies and budgets, and to work with the private sector, state and local governments, the science and higher education communities, and other nations toward this end.

    Prof. Tomasz Janowski, the Head of UNU-EGOV, visited EOP/OSTP on 30 June 2016. During the visit, he introduced UNU-EGOV, presented a talk entitled “Sustainable Development Goals – Advancing Digital Government Capabilities for the United Nations System and UN Member States”, and discussed international trends in Digital Government and Sustainable Development.
