Visit of Equatorial Guinea Vice Prime Minister to UNU-EGOV

    The Vice Prime Minister for Human Rights of Equatorial Guinea, Dr. Alfonso Nsue Mokuy, will visit UNU-EGOV on Tuesday, 28 March 2017, to perform the signing of the research project “EGOV.EG – EGOV National Strategy for Human Rights and Development in Equatorial Guinea”. The Operating Unit will support, throughout one year, the conception and monitoring of the country’s national EGOV plan, which is focused on sustainable development and improvement of citizenship practices. Dr. Tito Mba Ada, the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea to Portugal and Representative of the Equatorial Guinea Permanent Mission to the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Language Countries), will also attend the event.

    The signing of the project will take place at Sala da Eira, UNU-EGOV premises, at 10:30h. It will be followed by a keynote lecture delivered by the Vice Prime Minister. At 16:30h, the Equatorial Guinea official entourage will be welcomed by the Mayor of Guimarães, Mr. Domingos Bragança, at Paços do Concelho (Town hall).
